This impressive linear formal pool by Exotic Pools exudes modern elegance and refinement and was part of a property redevelopment to magnify the look and feel of this Caulfield North property’s outdoor area.
Exotic Pools replaced the existing smaller swimming pool with a 10m x 5m feature pool that now had the added bonus and feature of a 3m x 1.5m spa. With it’s seven-metre-long extended steps to allow the habitants to easily and gracefully enter their new formal pool.
While the pool features high-gloss white tiles and the spa showcases contrasting black high gloss tiles – this feature pool renovation complimented the outdoor area and home’s modern style.
Exotic Pools – utilised their years of experience in Melbourne Pool building to integrate the new swimming pool with their existing garden, tennis court and entertaining area by utilising frameless glass fencing and positioning the spa in the corner nearest the sundeck and outdoor structure.
THE PREPARATION
Before any construction could start, the reduntant pool and spa had to be removed, and the dismantled materials were
disposed of responsibly at a local recycling plant. A larger space then had to be excavated to accomodate their new pool’s size,
and then the levels were adjusted to suit.
The experienced pool building team at Exotic Pools were able to effortlessly execute the transition without compromising the foundations of the new pool and spa.
SMART POOL FEATURES
The updated pool includes an array of contemporary features including
- a Sunbather Downunder Thermal Blanket – which was installed to maintain optimal water temperature, reduce evaporation and keep out debris from surrounding
trees. - Viron Connect 10 with complementary iPhone application – allowing the owners to remotely control the pool and spa functions including the lights, temperature and solar sensor.
- Automatic Water Leveller – keeping the pool and spa filled the ideal water amount
- Solar Heating with a Viron 450 eVo gas heater – enabling the owners longer use by providing warmth during the colder months.
- A Viron eQuilibrium saltwater chlorinator
- Automatic pH sensing
- PV3 in-floor cleaning system with an additional booster pump also add to the pools functionality.
